 Damaged and cracked crown. Beginning to pull away from the chimney.

New crown. Coated with masonry waterseal to protect for ten years.

Severly damaged woodstove cap. Creosote builds up and causes draft issues. Also, becomes a fire hazard. New liner cap was installed with a bigger clearance to prevent build-up.

Inside of chimney with major third stage build up.

Becomes a fire hazard due to creosote releasing combustable vapors into the air.

Also, the thick acid in the creosote will break down the mortar and the bricks causing them to weaken.
